Phishing Security Warning!!
Southern Cross Building Society will not ask you for your Internet Banking password at any time.
If you receive a phone call, email, or request for your password (known as phishing) please contact the Society immediately.
N.B. There have been recent incidents of phishing. This means someone has been sending emails to a large number of people pretending to be us. We will never send an email asking you to "CLICK HERE TO" do anything. If you get such an email or a phone call asking for your personal details with the Society, do not provide them and feel free to notify your local branch on 0800-657-935. The only place you should go to sign on is www.buildingsociety.co.nz.

You keep your password secure and do not disclose it to anyone.

You establish and maintain appropriate anti virus and other security software on your PC
